Nobody walks to Coachella from a real hotel. Empire Polo Club sits in Indio. Weekend 1 is April 9–11, 2027; Weekend 2 is April 16–18 (Goldenvoice / coachella.com, checked August 18, 2026). Stagecoach is the next weekend at the same fields. Indio is closest. Indian Wells and La Quinta are the resort base. Palm Desert is overflow. Palm Springs proper is not in this catalog. Pick a commute, then a pool
Fantasy Springs, Fairfield Inn, and Holiday Inn Express put you in Indio — the shortest drive TripSignal tracks. Grand Hyatt Indian Wells, Renaissance Esmeralda, and La Quinta Resort add 15–25 minutes and a real recovery day. JW Desert Springs is 25–30 minutes and is how groups still find rooms.
Book Thursday–Monday for the weekend you hold tickets. Do not assume you can add Weekend 2 later at the same hotel.
